* Fencers of all ages and ability fencing all three weapons
* The club is run by a committee
* It is affiliated to and regulated by the British Fencing Association (BFA)
* The club follows British Fencing Association guidance on Health and Safety
* The Club has a Child Protection policy
* Coaching is from BAF qualified coaches
* British Fencing Association / British Academy of Fencing membership is required for insurance purposes

The year is divided into 3 periods of aproximately 16 weeks for paying fees:

Visiting fencers are always welcome (a small fee will be required) but they need to be members of the BFA for insurance purposes.
